Spotlight October Nader Sabry CEO of TIMEZ5 Global Inc

Nader Sabry is a space tech entrepreneur, mentor, and expert on the Islamic consumer sector. As founder and CEO of TIMEZ5 Global Inc, a Canadian space tech company certified by NASA's Space Foundation, he enhances the physio-spiritual experience through innovative products. He also works to inspire space entrepreneurship through the Get2space initiative, in partnership with the US Space Foundation.

1. Tell us about you, your experience, and your time in the Middle East.

I'm a strategist, innovator, and entrepreneur who starts, scales, and exists companies by commercializing the technology.  I have raised $20m indirect funding, $100m in supporting companies I have advised $3b in foreign direct investment.

2. How would you describe the culture of your business?

Innovation is oxygen.  Disruption is no longer a unique occurrence, but the norm.  It's something I embrace and celebrate daily and always encourage others to do the same.

3.What are the biggest challenges in the next 5 years?

Speed of disruption. We are in a boisterous Era, and right now, we have to become more focused than we have ever been.  There are too many legacy components to manage, so I always believe in a blank paper approach that enables fresh, innovative thinking to solve complex problems.

4.What are the skills and competencies that you would need to train to meet the region’s talent requirements?

Creative and cortical thinking with a dash of positiveness. Too much weight is put on the old, tried, and tested. It's simply not the future.  Young talent is most prone to out of the box thinking, but old school systems and thinking constrain them.  They need to break out and be authentic
